Hey gang,

Well Gunny and I are OK, Gunny lost his house and everything in it. His house was three blocks from the 17th St. Canal levee break. He probably had 15 feet of water or more. He has what he left with, which isn't much. Him and his wife and the two dogs are doing fine. They are staying with me in my home about 20 miles west of where he lived. Me and my wife and daughter (and our pets) are all fine, tired, but doing just fine. My house has some minor roof and siding damage, and we got some water in the house (from the roof-no flooding), but it is all repairable and cleanable so for that I am ever so thankful. We just got power back on at my house last night, so hopefully soon we will have the 'puters back up and running. My DSL is up so we should have no access probs. We really appreciate everyone's thoughts and concerns. And we are so thankful that we have a place to go. It very easily could have taken out my home as well, so I am opening my doors to anyone in our families that needs a place to stay for however long they need it. We will rebuild, restore, etc. using whatever means we have at our disposal.

Again, we truly appreciate everyone's thoughts and kind words. Even though we aren't around much anymore, we still talk about the old battles, etc.

I will try and get back on as I find the time to give you guys an update.

Until then

Jug out
